Who needs a chatbot for business

The simplest test is your message history with clients for the last month. If a third of the messages are the same five questions ("how much is it", "do you have a free slot", "how do I get to you", "are you open on Sunday", "how can I pay"), a bot will take them off your team. And if people write at night and on weekends and only get a reply the next day, some of them have already gone to a competitor.

A bot helps most where there are bookings or consultations: salons, clinics, schools, delivery services, small online shops. If every request is unique and needs a conversation with a specialist, a bot can do little more than collect the contact.

A bot or a regular contact form

Your site already has a form, so why a bot as well? A form waits for the visitor to decide what to write, and some people close the page without filling it in. A bot starts the conversation, offers ready options and answers straight away, so the visitor gets an answer before leaving any contact details. We keep the form too: some clients are used to it, and both paths lead to the same request.

Two packages: scripted or AI-powered

The Basic bot runs on scenarios. The visitor sees buttons ("Prices", "Book", "Address") and gets an answer we wrote in advance for your business. The bot makes nothing up, so it doesn't make mistakes. For questions outside the scenario it offers to connect the visitor with a person.

The Smart bot works with the help of AI. People write however they like, for example "is there a free slot on Saturday for a manicure and how much would it cost?", and the bot understands the question and answers in its own words, based on your texts, price list and rules. An AI chatbot for business makes sense when there are many requests and people phrase them in very different ways. It runs on an AI model from one of the major providers, and that cost is already part of the monthly support: up to 1,000 conversations a month. If you have more, we agree on it separately.

For most small businesses the Basic bot is enough. You can start with it and move to the Smart one later without starting over: the scenarios and texts stay.

What it looks like for the client

An example for a beauty salon. Sunday, 11:10 p.m. A visitor opens the website and sees a small window in the corner: "Hi! I can tell you our prices, book a visit or pass your question to the receptionist."

  • She picks "Book" and the service, "Gel manicure".
  • The bot shows the price and asks which day suits her.
  • She leaves her name and phone number; the bot thanks her and says the receptionist will confirm the time by 10 a.m.
  • At 11:12 p.m. the receptionist gets the request with all the details in Telegram.

The whole conversation takes two minutes. In the morning the receptionist doesn't have to remember who asked what, just confirm the booking. With the Smart bot she wouldn't even need the buttons and could simply write: "any free slot on Monday after six for a manicure?"

How chatbot development works

People who look for chatbot development services usually picture programming. In practice most of the work is content: what the bot says and where it leads the visitor. In a custom chatbot, most of the value is in your own answers.

  1. We collect the questions. We take the 10–15 most common ones from your messages and calls and agree on the answers.
  2. We build the scenario. We decide which buttons the visitor sees, where the bot asks for contact details and when it hands the conversation to a manager.
  3. We set up notifications. Requests arrive where you will definitely see them: by email, in Telegram or in a CRM.
  4. We test. We go through every branch of the conversation on a phone and a computer and ask awkward questions.
  5. We launch and watch. For the first weeks we look at where people stop and which questions the bot couldn't answer.

On your website, in Telegram, or both

Whether it's scripted or an AI chatbot for website visitors, the bot sits in a small window in the corner of the page and opens when the visitor clicks it. It doesn't pop up over the text by itself: a bot like that gets in the way more than it helps.

In Telegram the bot has its own name, and clients find it through a link on your website or social media. The advantage is that the conversation stays in the messenger: the person can come back to it tomorrow, and you can message them about a booking or an order. You can have both versions with the same answers. We don't connect Instagram or WhatsApp.

Chatbot pricing

Prices for both packages are in the card at the top of the page, with no "price on request". The final amount depends on the number of branches in the conversation, integrations (CRM, booking calendar), the number of languages and whether AI is needed. We give an exact figure after the first conversation, once we see your list of questions.

What affects the price and which questions to hand over to the bot is covered in more detail in the article on 24/7 chatbots.

What happens after launch

Edits are free for the first month: a price has changed, you've added a service, clients have started asking about something new, and we update the answers. After that, our chatbot services continue for a fixed monthly fee, different for each package; both are in the comparison table. For the Basic bot you can also pay per edit.

Once a month it's worth checking which questions the bot couldn't answer. Those are ready scenarios for the next update.

What we need from you

A list of common questions with their answers, your current prices, opening hours and address. For the Smart bot, also the texts it will rely on: service descriptions, payment and return terms, booking rules. If the materials are ready at the start, the timeline holds. If you don't have the texts yet, you can order them as content outsourcing.

When you don't need a bot

If there are few requests and each one is unique, a bot adds complexity without much benefit: it's simpler to keep direct contact with a person. One more thing: a bot on a website makes sense once the website exists. If you don't have one yet, start with web development, and we'll add the bot later.

Where to start

Send us the 10–15 questions clients ask most often and tell us where you need the bot: on your website, in Telegram or in both. We'll tell you which package fits and give you a timeline.
